We are now entering September.....the garden has been most productive this summer....just the right amount of rain and picked my last basket of beans....they are still blooming a little but the beans are small and getting spongy so it must be time to pull the plants.
Last Monday, we took a load of garden waste to Lappan's Lane....and I was hoping with a little rain, the vegetables would continue to grow but it is that time of year to pull stuff out and bring flowers into the greenhouse for winter.
Still have lots of Swiss Chard, some carrots and beans and herbs to dry for winter seasonings.
Last night, we had lovely is cooler and Hurricane Earl is the news topic of the weekend, as he zooms down the Eastern coast to wreak havoc.....
